April has been employed at Beard Dentistry since 1988. She completed the Dental Assisting program at Faulkner State and received her hygiene license in 1991 from the Dental Hygiene Program at UAB. She is married to Trip Overstreet and they have 2 children William and Caroline. April enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and sewing.
Kelly has 28 years of dental experience. Kelly completed the Dental Hygiene Program at UAB in 1995 and has been with Beard Dentistry team since March 2000. Kelly recently attended the UAB Hygiene Infiltration class in January 2019. Kelly's favorite part of her job is seeing the before and after photos.. It really is possible to change a life by giving someone a "new" smile!
Kirsten studied Dental Assisting at Faulkner State Community College. She has been assisting Dr Beard for seven years.. She is the busy mom of John Tyce, Mallie, and a bonus son, Brayden. Kirsten enjoys shopping, coffee shops, spending time with her kids and LSU football. What she loves most about working in dentistry is seeing the joy on patients face, when their dream smile is revealed.
Jenny has been a member of the Beard Dentistry team since 2014. She has two children Amie Beth, and Caleb. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys singing at church and spending time with her loved ones. Getting the chance to help people by providing them with the best quality of care has been a huge blessing for her. Being on the Beard Dentistry team has given Jenny more opportunities to show love to others by genuinely caring and making a difference in their lives.
Kayla graduated from MCC as a RDH in 2012. She is currently pursuing her BS in Dental Hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Kayla is a new mom and enjoys spending time with her family. She cherishes her friendships she has made with the dental team at Beard Dentistry, as well as our patients.
Barabara has 25 years experience in the dental field. She started as a dental assistant in 1995 and completed the Dental Hygiene Program at UAB in 2005. Barbara also attended the UAB Hygiene Infiltration class in January 2019 and received her permit. As a hygienist, she enjoys building relationships with patients and meeting their needs. She also enjoys meeting new people. Barbara joined the Beard Dentistry team in October of 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, their three children Taylor, Will, and Paisley, and their grandchild, Lucas. She also enjoys time spent with family and friends.
Morgan has worked in the dental field since 2010. She completed the Dental Hygiene program at UAB in 2016.. Morgan is from Prattville, Al, but recently moved to Jackson in June 2019 for her husband to be the Offensive Coordinator at Jackson High School. In Morgan's spare time, she enjoys time with her husband and son. If not at work, she is usually on a field cheering them on. Morgan enjoys the relationships she has been able to create over the years in the dental field and is looking forward to creating new ones here in Jackson.
Julia has been in dentistry for 23 years and she has been a part of the Beard Dentistry team since January 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ray, her kids, grandchildren, great-grands and family. She loves following her grandson around while he plays baseball.
